Click
here to go to a searchable database containing
books, magazines, web sites and articles. The database allows
you to search by faith perspective, key word, intended audience,
discipline, type of resource. It’s a little clunky to use, but
if you are searching for, say, an Amish perspective on nature
in book form, it might help you.

MCCN’s Resource Library is designed to:
1. Help individuals and groups find the faith-based resources
and inspiration they need to live more lightly on the earth. Want
to give your church building an energy audit? Not sure where
to start or how to focus your energy? This library can help you.
2. Collect writings by Mennonites/Anabaptists related
to Creation Care.
Just as each species has its own niche in an ecosystem, so each
denomination has its own niche in Christendom with particular strengths
and weaknesses. A denominational collection can enable a group
to find its angle, nurture its strengths and identify missing pieces
that require more thought. The resources listed are from a variety
of faith traditions, but you can call up those by Mennonite authors
or associated with Mennonite institutions.
3. Share items that our MCCN members have found helpful
and recommended to us.
Additional Criteria for Inclusion: Was the work
published in 1990 or later? If not, was it written by an earth
care authority or has it attained some sort of classic status? |
